0 petroleum paraffin

Strict zero-tolerance threshold for petroleum-derived waxes, benzene emissions, and compressed aerosol fluorocarbons.

Botanical sourcing and gas chromatography standards govern every batch poured in our Tampa shop.

Indoor fragrance products are inhaled directly into lungs. When ambient scent makers use cheap kerosene distillates, paraffin wax, or phthalate-heavy stabilizing chemicals, they poison room air while pretending to clean it. Aromatek tests every incoming drum of vegetable soy wax, bio-glycol solvent, and steam-distilled essential oil on our laboratory bench before blending.

100 % vegetable soy

Hydrogenated agricultural soy bean oil poured into unglazed earthenware cups with zero paraffin extenders.

The vegetable wax protocol.

Paraffin candles smoke when drafts blow. Vegetable soy wax burns at lower melt temperatures, creating a full liquid pool that releases scent without black soot.

Why we refuse paraffin and how we test burn stability.

Paraffin wax is the bottom sludge left behind after crude oil is cracked into gasoline. When burned inside an enclosed room, paraffin releases microscopic particles of toluene and benzene that cling to drywall and settle into upholstery.

Aromatek uses exclusively 100% Midwestern vegetable soy wax formulated to melt at 122°F. We pair this with braided, unbleached organic cotton wicks pinned with lead-free brass sustainers. Every candle batch undergoes an eight-hour continuous burn audit in a sealed draft-free test box to ensure the flame stays under one inch and generates zero visible carbon smoke.

90 day evaporation

Evaporation rate calibrated for Florida coastal humidity, drawing oil steadily without rapid alcohol flash-off.

Bio-glycol solvent formulation for capillary rattan reeds.

Factor 01 Zero Isopropyl Alcohol

Cheap diffusers use 70% rubbing alcohol that flashes off in twenty days, leaving thick scent sludge at the bottom. We use 100% alcohol-free bio-glycol.

Factor 02 Vascular Capillary Reeds

We import 4mm porous Indonesian rattan stems with clear vascular bundles. The liquid draws upward purely by capillary vacuum, releasing fragrance constantly.

Factor 03 Thermal Viscosity Balance

Formulated for Florida’s warm climate, the carrier maintains steady viscosity between 65°F and 85°F without clogging reed micropores.

Smoke and odor neutralization testing chamber for vegetable wax candles.
Quality Evaluation Chamber: Side-by-side burn rate testing with thermocouples and particulate sensors. Standard: ASTM F2417 Thermal Safety
6000 hour plate life

Operational rating for high-voltage dielectric ceramic plates before ultrasonic cleaning or plate swap is required.

Corona discharge hardware calibration and ozone safety protocols.

Our 5000mg/h ozone generators are evaluated under full electrical load before boxing. We measure voltage across the transformer step-up circuit (7,500 volts AC) to verify corona intensity without plate arcing.

Operator Precaution Check

Ozone works through aggressive oxidation. It will corrode unvarnished copper and degrade natural rubber if run continuously for 48 hours. Follow our 120-minute maximum run cycle guidelines and always allow 45 minutes of natural atmospheric decay before re-entering treated areas.
